Back in 2017, Coveteur sat down with Schiffer to discuss her beauty secrets and her strategies for staying healthy and full of energy. When asked about the five items she took with her when she traveled, the model replied:
“I travel with [the] Luxurious Volume Mascara for my range. [It’s] very thick, and [I use it] with an eyelash curler. So when I arrive, I put that on because you don’t really need much more makeup besides a lip balm.”
She continued, further explaining her travel routine:
“And then an illuminator, which just gives you a little bit of a highlight, so you look fresh and awake off the plane. Otherwise, I have the book I’m reading at the moment or my iPad and headphones. A cashmere blanket from Johnstons of Elgin. And my favorite coffee.”
In the rest of Claudia’s interview, in response to the question about her in-flight skincare routine, the model revealed that she always has lip balm on hand to combat dry lips. She also focuses on staying hydrated by drinking water and herbal teas. Additionally, Schiffer tries to get some rest during the flight for overall well-being. She also brings along a favorite chocolate as a snack.
During another chat with Vogue in 2018, the model talked about what she likes to wear when she travels. She chooses clothes that are comfy and also look nice. She usually wears jeans, either a fancy cotton shirt or a warm cashmere sweater, flat boots made of suede, a big scarf with embroidery, and sunglasses. Schiffer wants to feel cozy and fashionable when she travels.
