Known as the wife of former American football player Ben Bordelon, Gemi Bordelon was born on February 1, 1975. Like her husband, Gemi is a native of Louisiana. Details about her formal educational background are not publicly available, but it’s reported that she is college-educated and has a bachelor’s degree in business.

Gemi’s husband Ben played the position of offensive tackle for the San Diego Chargers for the 1997-1998 season. He retired from professional football in 1999. As of now, he runs Bollinger Shipyards, a ship-building company, and serves as the President and CEO of the company.

Gemi and Ben have three children together – two sons, Bo and Brett Bordelon, and a daughter, Brooke Bordelon. Both Bo and Brett have followed in their father’s athletic footsteps. Bo represents the Louisiana State University team, while Brett is an Offensive Tackle for the Newman football team.

Brooke, on the other hand, has chosen a different path. A student at LSU studying Sports Commerce and Mass Communication, she has also interned at her father’s company, Bollinger Shipyards. Brooke is married to Grant Gauthreaux, another student at LSU.

However, a video of her participating in the ‘Get the Gat’ challenge with LSU players at The White House in January 2020 went viral on the internet. In the video, Gemi can be seen dancing in The White House with LSU’s football team, who were invited there after their National College Football Championship win.
