Jon Hamm and John Slattery recently sat down with TODAY for an interview to talk about their new dark comedy movie ‘Maggie Moore(s).’ During the conversation, Hamm revealed that he is into all the ‘Real Housewives’ franchises.

When co-anchor Savannah Guthrie asked Hamm whether it’s true he was a ‘Real Housewives’ fan, the actor sighed and confirmed the news:

“No, that’s real. I would say yes. I’m a Jersey man.”

Guthrie was surprised upon hearing the Jersey franchise was Hamm’s favorite. She then asked the ‘Mad Men’ star if there were any other franchises he’s tried. Hamm responded:

“I’m a Vanderpumper. I’m a Beverly Hills-ian. I like New York. We’ll see what this whole new New York thing is all about.”

The actor then joked that he has to support ‘Real Housewives’ because he and Bravo host Andy Cohen are both from St. Louis:

“Andy Cohen is from St. Louis. I have to support the home team.”

Guthrie then admitted it’s hard to resist watching the franchise. She then asked Hamm whether he had watched the real estate show, ‘Selling Sunset.’ The actor said:

“It is only a matter of time. It is a universe. It is a vortex. It will get us all eventually.”

Back in 2022, Hamm joined Howard Stern for an interview and revealed he and Anna Osceola watch ‘the Real Housewives’ while cooking. While admitting he was a fan of the Beverly Hills franchise, the actor revealed he actually resisted the show for years.

“I resisted it for decades. I thought it was the low-hanging fruit, the lowest common denominator.”

The new season of ‘The Real Housewives of New York City’ is set to premiere on July 16 at 9 p.m. on Bravo. It will introduce a brand-new cast with Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Dana Lichy, Jessel Taank, Brynn Whitfield, and Jenna Lyons.
