Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme spoke to ‘Tuna On Toast With Stryker’ and revealed his love for romantic comedies.
The rocker first mentioned his love for movies like the Ryan Gosling-led ‘The Nice Guys’ and Martin Scorcese’s ‘Gangs of New York.’ Homme, then delved deeper into his favorite genre, explaining why he enjoyed a ‘good’ rom-com:
“Frankly, I like a good romantic comedy because it seems so distant from my own life. I kind of don’t care [which one], I don’t care. I just like to watch the fantasy of what love is and it always ends with they live happily ever after, when traditionally in real life, things get dicey It’s almost like ‘Cinderella’ is a romantic comedy too. I’m okay with a little fantasy like that.”
However, Josh isn’t the only one with guilty pleasures when it comes to movies, as you can check out here to read all about Tool, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer frontman Maynard James Keenan’s ‘guilty pleasure’ film.
Besides Homme’s love for a good film, QOTSA also released their 8th album dubbed ‘In Times New Roman’ in May, and you can check out down below to hear one of the band’s latest pieces.
