Philadelphia-born rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor, PnB Rock, whose real name was Rakim Hasheem Allen, had a promising music career marked by successful albums and hit singles. However, his life was cut short tragically on September 12, 2022, at the age of 30.

The rapper’s musical journey started with the release of his debut mixtape, ‘Real N*gga Bangaz,’ in June 2014, which he wrote while imprisoned. He gained recognition and signed a record deal with Atlantic Records in 2015. Subsequently, he released several mixtapes and singles, steadily building his fan base.

In January 2017, PnB Rock released his second retail mixtape album, ‘GTTM: Goin Thru the Motions,’ which debuted at number 28 on the US Billboard 200 chart. His popularity soared with the release of his single ‘Selfish,’ peaking at number 51 on the US Billboard Hot 100. His career continued to flourish with the release of his debut studio album, ‘Catch These Vibes,’ in 2017 and the album ‘TrapStar Turnt PopStar’ in 2019.

Despite the achievements in his music career, tragedy struck PnB Rock when he was killed due to gunshot wounds to the back and chest. At the time of his tragic death, PnB Rock had a net worth of $3 million. The unfortunate incident occurred while he was dining at Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘N Waffles with his girlfriend, Stephanie Sibounheuang.

The rapper passed away at the hospital after succumbing to his injuries. According to reports, the fatal shooting took place when the suspect approached him and demanded his jewelry and other belongings.

In the wake of his passing, the LAPD conducted investigations, leading to the arrest of several individuals connected to the crime. An unnamed 17-year-old juvenile, along with Freddie Trone, the juvenile’s father, and Shauntel Trone, were charged in connection with the murder. The charges included first-degree murder, second-degree robbery, and conspiracy to commit robbery.
