The Aquaman actor Jason Momoa is accused of bullying Johnny Depp’s former wife, Amber Heard.

According to Variety, on the day the trailer of ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ was released, some Reddit users paid to obtain the documents of the Johnny Depp – Heard defamation case and published them on the internet.

The newly released notes, reportedly scribbled in a legal pad by Heard’s therapist, include statements that Momoa walked around the set drunk, dressed like Johnny Depp and that the actor attempted to get Heard fired. The notes said:

“Jason said he wanted me fired. Jason drunk — late on set. Dressing like Johnny. Has all the rings too.”

The news states that Heard was almost fired from the role of Mera after the release of 2018’s ‘Aquaman,’ but the firing couldn’t happen due to the lawsuit she had with Depp.

A DC spokesperson opposed the Momoa allegations in the report and said the following:

“Jason Momoa conducted himself in a professional manner at all times on the set of ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.'”

Others added to the statement:

“Jason works his ass off, likes to have a beer once in a while like everyone, but doesn’t show up drunk to set.”

An insider also claimed that Momoa and Heard were seen joking on the set. The insider added:

“And he isn’t dressing like Johnny Depp. He has always dressed in that bohemian style.”

Heard was not fired from the project, but it is said that the reason for this was Elon Musk’s intervention. According to Variety, Musk, Heard’s ex-boyfriend, had one of his lawyers send ‘a scorched-earth letter to Warner Bros. threatening to burn the house down,’ and WB brought Heard back to the sequel.

According to Variety, the shooting of ‘Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom’ cost 215 million dollars in total. It’s now uncertain that the film will repeat the billion-dollar success of the first film when it is released on December 20.

After their upcoming film’s world premiere at the 69th Taormina Film Festival in Italy, director Conor Allyn joined People to talk about Amber Heard’s future career. In the interview, he reflected on whether this film was a great comeback for the actress.

Saying Heard has many opportunities on the horizon, Allyn said the following about the actress’ appearance in the film:

“Amber has an incredibly bright future ahead. I think ‘In the Fire‘ showcases her talents as an actor. I know this is something she is very proud of, and it’s something we are very excited to release to the public.”

As the director says, ‘In the Fire’ was Heard’s chance to move away from the Johnny Depp lawsuit:

“I think it will be a great opportunity for her to have something beyond the trial and stuff to talk about and to be a platform for a hell of a comeback.”

Heard is making her first major appearance after the defamation trial with ‘In the Fire,’ since 2021’s ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League.‘

‘In The Fire’ is a supernatural thriller set in the 1980s, where Heard plays a psychiatrist who investigates a disturbing case. According to Heard’s Instagram post, filming for the movie was completed in March 2022, months before the defamation trial began.
