6. Kid Rock’s Colonial-Style Home In Detroit

Kid Rock owns a colonial-style property in Detroit, which features three dormers, a colonnade, and a private boathouse with a large roof deck and Jet Ski lifts. It was first listed in July 2019 for $2.2 million, while there were only four single-family homes in Detroit asking for more than $1 million. The home has remained on the market for longer than expected, eventually being sold in 2022.

5. Mary J. Blige’s New Jersey Mansion

Mary J. Blige owns a mansion in New Jersey, which was first listed in August 2019 for $3 million. The mansion has been on and off the market for over three-and-a-half years.

Blige has another New Jersey estate in Saddle River, purchased for $12.3 million in 2008. Saddle River estate has 13,856 square feet, eight bedrooms, a home cinema, elevator, basketball court, and wine cellar. It was initially listed in 2010 for $13 million and sold a decade later in 2020 for $5.5 million.

4. Rihanna’s Hollywood Hills House

Rihanna owns a property in the Hollywood Hills. First listed in December 2018 for $7.3 million, it had one price cut in October 2021, a month after listing it a second time. In 2022, the property was sold for $6,5 million.

3. Celine Dion’s Bahamian-Inspired Mansion In Jupiter Island

Celine Dion purchased her Bahamian-inspired mansion on Jupiter Island in early 2008 for over $7 million. The singer invested in creating a paradise-like ambiance, complete with 13 bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, a beach frontage, a tennis pavilion, a golf range simulator, a pool house, an outdoor kitchen, and a four-car garage. She first listed the mansion in 2013 for $72.5 million and eventually sold it in April 2017 for $28 million after several price cuts.

2. Pierce Brosnan’s Malibu Mansion

Actor Pierce Brosnan has a Malibu mansion first listed in 2020 for $100 million. With panoramic ocean views and modern design, the 13,000-square-foot mansion was inspired by Southeast Asian aesthetics. Located among modern glass boxes and other Spanish-style mansions, it hasn’t secured a buyer and is now off-market.

1. Michael Jordan’s Mansion In Illinois

Topping our list is Michael Jordan and his mansion in Illinois. First listed in February 2012 for $29 million, it had three price cuts, eventually reduced to just shy of $14.9 million in 2015. Located in the Chicago suburb of Highland Park, this 33,000-square-foot home has nine bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, a full-size indoor basketball court, and a gymnasium. Interior features include an infinity pool, putting green, tennis court, cigar room, movie theatre, wine cellar, and poker room. The house is currently off-market.

Claudette Dion recently shared details about her sister Celine Dion’s current condition.

Dion was diagnosed with stiff person syndrome towards the end of 2022, a syndrome which causes the person to have severe muscle stiffness and spasms. The star’s sister opened up about Celine’s syndrome on ‘Hello! Canada.‘ She stated:

“It’s an illness we know so little about. There are spasms – they’re impossible to control. You know who people often jump up in the night because of a cramp in the leg or the calf? It’s a bit like that, but in all muscles. There’s little we can do to support her, to alleviate her pain.”

The singer’s sister also made it clear that ‘she’s doing everything to recover.’

Celine first shared the news on her social media with a video. After her diagnosis, she had to cancel the remaining shows of her ‘Courage World Tour in May this year, stating that she was heartbroken, but there was nothing else she could do.

Additionally, the singer expressed her disappointment in canceling the shows over and over. Although she made sure that she was not giving up, it is still uncertain whether or not she will be able to perform again.

Celine Dion was preparing to return to the road to continue her ‘Courage World Tour’ that began before the pandemic. Due to her rare health condition, the singer announced on Instagram that she had to cancel the remainder of the tour. The post read:

“It is with tremendous disappointment that we have to announce today the cancellation of the ‘Courage World Tour.'”

Celine had previously shared a video on Instagram about how Stiff-Person Syndrome has affected her everyday activities, singing and performing. She included a personal message for her fans in the post to inform her fans about how her health has been and why she decided to cancel the rest of the dates. The singer said:

“I’m so sorry to disappoint all of you once again. I’m working really hard to build back my strength, but touring can be very difficult even when you’re 100%. It’s not fair to you to keep postponing the shows, and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything now until I’m really ready to be back on stage again. I want you all to know I’m not giving up, and I can’t wait to see you again!”

The post also ensured fans that the tickets would be refunded at the point of purchase, stating:

“Tickets purchased for the forty-two canceled dates will be refunded via the original point of sale. For further ticket inquiries or options, ticketholders should reach out to their original point of purchase.”
