In 2012, following her collaboration with Escada’s Delicate Notes fragrance, Bar Refaeli joined an interview with British Vogue, discussing her beauty tips and practices. When asked whether she ever had a ‘beauty disaster,’ the model explained:
“Not really, but a classic one that I narrowly avoided was over-plucking my eyebrows. When I was younger, I really wanted to clean up my eyebrows, and people told me not to do it, and today, I’m really, really happy that I didn’t make that mistake. A big part of what I really like about my face is my eyebrows because they’re wild and messy, and I really like that.”
Around that time, Forbes Israel named Refaeli the highest-paid model in Israel, with a yearly income of NIS 9 million. Her role as the host of the first three seasons of ‘The X Factor Israel’ added to her wealth in the upcoming years.
In the middle of that schedule, the model revealed that she worked up to 15 hours a day with a post on Instagram after filming an episode of the show. So, when asked if she experimented with beauty looks in the British Vogue interview, she said:
“I usually go make-up-free when I’m not working. Because I work so much, during the free days that I have, I like to let my skin breathe, but of course, I’m girly, so I like to put on some blush and some mascara. I do the very basic things; I don’t get too complicated.”
On the other hand, Refaeli mentioned that her number one thing when it came to her looks was to use an eyelash curler as she didn’t ‘feel as good’ without it.
