Former Disney Channel star Ronni Hawk became a household name for her role as the eldest sibling, Rachel Diaz, in the series ‘Stuck in the Middle.’ But since her departure from the show in 2018, Hawk’s career has taken various twists and turns, including starring roles in new TV series, legal issues, and a growing social media presence.

Hawk bid farewell to ‘Stuck in the Middle’ and her character Rachel Diaz after an episode that aired on January 19, 2018. In the plot of the series, Rachel’s exit was attributed to her moving to France for a fashion internship at a French university. The third season of the show, which premiered on December 8 with ‘Stuck at Christmas – The Movie,’ explained Rachel’s absence as her spending Christmas in France with her friend’s family.
Soon after leaving ‘Stuck in the Middle,’ Hawk transitioned to a new acting opportunity. She signed up to star in a Netflix coming-of-age dramedy titled ‘On My Block,‘ which was set in a rough inner-city environment. Comprising 10 episodes, the show’s first season was slated for release within the same year.

Hawk’s life took a challenging turn in August 2020 when she was arrested on allegations of domestic violence against her partner and taken into custody at Valley Jail in Van Nuys, Los Angeles. Hawk was booked on a charge of inflicting corporal injury on her partner and was later released after posting a $100,000 bond.

Apart from her role in ‘On My Block,’ Hawk has appeared in several other television roles. She played a part in the CW series ‘Legacies‘ and portrayed Tomi Shaw, an armed college student, in Kevin M. White’s drama, ‘Girl with a Gun.‘
She has been active on Instagram, where she has amassed a following of around 750,000 followers. She has also engaged in paid partnerships with brands such as Wanderlust Swim and Sardinian swimwear line La Revêche.

As of May 2023, Ronni Hawk’s acting journey has continued to unfold. Besides her role in ‘On My Block,’ she also guest-starred in ‘S.W.A.T.‘ and ‘Legacies.’ So, despite the end of ‘Stuck in the Middle,’ the actress has managed to keep herself busy with various roles across different genres.
