L.A. Guns frontman Tracii Guns recently announced on Twitter that he was unaware that his latest single came out. His tweet wrote:

“I love when my label doesn’t let me know they released a new single.”

He then quote tweeted and mentioned that this single, originally a track within Blackbird Angels’ album ‘Solsorte,’ is heavily influenced by Jeff Beck:

“Now that this one is out. This one is truly inspired by Jeff Beck to give a frame of reference to the early 70’s Jeff lovers.”

Tracii recently announced that he and Todd Kerns founded a new group Blackbird Angels, and their debut album will be released on September 8. Their first single ‘Shut Up (You Know I Love You)‘ was released on July 17. Regarding Blackbird Angels, Guns once said:

“Todd and I have wanted to make a record for about 10 years now and we finally did it and it’s everything I hoped for. With the addition of Adam Hamilton, it’s pure magic. For live performances, Johnny Martin will play bass and Sam Bam Koltun will play guitar.”
