Lorna Shore vocalist Will Ramos recently discussed his approach to handling fan feedback, explaining why he avoids letting outside opinions influence his creative process during an interview with Loudwire. He reflected on the psychological weight of negative comments and how they can overshadow praise from fans.

“Sometimes you’ll have a really good video you’re really confident in, you’re stoked, and then you put it out and you read a whole bunch of good comments,” Ramos said. “And then you read that one bad comment and that one comment just like completely cancels out the hundreds of good comments that you just got and all you’re doing is hyperfixating on that one person.”

He noted how this fixation can become consuming and ultimately counterproductive.

“You’re just like, ‘This person’s so dumb. They don’t know what they’re talking about. Why would they even say that when they’re not right?’” he continued.

For Ramos, personal fulfillment is more important than external validation.

“If I’m happy with it, then I’m happy with it and that’s what matters at the end of the day,” he concluded.
