Taylor Swift Receives An Offer From Justin Trudeau For Her Tour With Hayley Williams

Taylor Swift recently shared a tweet about her upcoming UK and Europe tour dates featuring Paramore and expressed her excitement about getting the opportunity to tour with her long-time friend Hayley Williams. The tweet read:

“Really can’t contain my excitement because… we’re adding 14 new shows to The Eras Tour. And I get to travel the world doing shows with Paramore! Hayley and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville, and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer? I’m screaming?”

Replying to the singer’s tweet, Canada prime minister Justin Trudeau posted a tweet stating that Canada would love to see them. The tweet, referring to the lyrics of Swift’s song ‘Anti-Hero,’ read:

“It’s me, hi. I know places in Canada would love to have you. So, don’t make it another cruel summer. We hope to see you soon.”

Although Trudeau’s tweet was meant to be welcoming, it received overwhelmingly negative feedback. Many people called the prime minister an embarrassment, desperate, creepy, and so on.
