
In a recent interview with Forbes, actress Jacqueline Bisset reflected on her role in the 2022 film ‘Loren & Rose.’ Admitting she had concerns about portraying Rose, Bisset said she was scared before reading the script:
“I didn’t know if I could do it. I wasn’t sure if I was quite ready. I was scared of the role, but I’m always scared of things. Once we started reading the script aloud, I realized I could do it and was ready.”
Bisset, who has been in the industry for almost six decades, reflected on her character, Rose. Asked if there were any parallels between her and Rose, the actress responded:
“I had the sufficiency to play her, but I didn’t think of it as a story that was mine. I knew it was well written, and I’m sure many people who have lived as long as I have and been in this business as long as I have had the experience of what I talk about in the film.”
In Russel Brown’s ‘Loren & Rose,’ Bisset plays the title role of Rose Martin, who is a legendary actress trying to revive her career with the help of a filmmaker named Loren Bressher. The film focuses on the bond and the chemistry between the two, portraying their years-long friendship.
